Year Two:
Applying and Innovating Stages

Goals:
Inquiry 1
Restorative Practices: Building and Maintaining Relationships in the Classroom
Establishing and maintaining learning environments that are physically, intellectually, and emotionally safe
The students read, collaborate, provide feedback, plan, and write about the material learned. They are not given only multiple-choice answer tests. They have to show what they know.
Inquiry 2
Designing Student Centered Learning
Creating physical or virtual learning environments that promote student learning, reflect diversity, and encourage constructive and productive interactions among students.
I am building collaborative skills, and I am trying different ways to assess the student's knowledge. In the end, All students grew in their learning since they had the chance to share and clarify their ideas throughout the activity.
Inquiry 3
Early Childhood: Increasing Language Arts & Math Competence
Involving all students in self-assessment, goal setting, and monitoring progress
I closed the gap by including Project Base Learning and having hands-on activities. I continue to tackle subject-specific vocabulary to promote the agility to communicate using academic terms. This activity will improve student learning because they will be solving a real word problem with a team. They will incorporate ELA and subject specific vocabulary.
Inquiry 4
Teacher Wellness
Establishing professional goals and engaging in continuous and purposeful professional growth and development
I connected with each student and allowed them to share their findings with me. I took their creative ideas and helped them during the innovating process so they could materialize their ideas into projects. Spending Quality time with each one and giving myself the room to get to know them better made me a happy teacher. It also made my classroom a lot safer, fun, detail-oriented, determined, and with a clear goal and steps to follow.
